As a co-founder of Agrovision, Oscar is not only instrumental in financial operations but also contributes to the company’s innovative projects. He is the visionary behind the Smart Scarecrow, a groundbreaking project that integrates modern technology into traditional farming practices to address crop protection challenges.
Oscar’s commitment to leveraging his engineering background, combined with his financial acumen, has been pivotal in driving Agrovision’s mission to provide sustainable, tech-driven solutions for agricultural transformation in Uganda and beyond.
I.T. Officer, Agrovision Uganda
Tumukugize Mark is the I.T. Officer at Agrovision Uganda. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and has extensive experience in systems administration, database programming, and computer maintenance. Mark is also responsible for managing Agrovision’s social media platforms and developing software systems tailored to support the company’s innovative projects. As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AgroVision Uganda, Brian blends his technical expertise, leadership, and entrepreneurial spirit to steer the company toward revolutionizing agriculture with cutting-edge solutions.
A Biomedical Engineer by training, Brian possesses a diverse skill set encompassing Embedded Systems, Instrumentation, Team Building and Leadership, Project Management, and Design. This unique combination of technical proficiency and strategic leadership allows him to foster innovation and operational excellence within AgroVision Uganda.
Brian’s leadership has been pivotal in AgroVision Uganda’s success. He played a key role in the company’s participation in the six-month Uganda Climate Innovation Fund program, where their innovation was recognized among the top 20 in the country. Ann is an innovation and technology enthusiast who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. She is also an alumnus of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) cohort 8. Alongside her leadership role at Agrovision, she serves as an I.T. Officer at Soar Research Foundation, where her expertise in technology supports impactful research and innovation. Nakalema is the visionary behind Agrovision’s groundbreaking solar incubator project, which led the company to a landmark victory at the AYUTE Africa Challenge, season 3.
Okoci Samuel Peter

Okoci Samuel Peter is the founder, Chief Technology Officer, and a dedicated researcher at Agrovision Uganda. As an Electrical and Electronics Engineer with a strong commitment to agritech, Samuel has pioneered several impactful solutions, including the award-winning Smart Kuku Brooder, which won the AYUTE Africa Challenge season 2 and has received multiple recognitions for supporting sustainable poultry farming among smallholder farmers.
Samuel also leads the Agrovision technical team responsible for developing numerous other Agricultural Technologies currently onboard at Agrovision. Additionally, he serves as an Automation Engineer at Uganda’s Lato Milk, where he applies his technical expertise to advance the dairy sector and strengthen agricultural value chains.
A seasoned entrepreneur and alumnus of the Youth Startup Academy Uganda (YSAU) cohort 3, Samuel is an experienced hardware and embedded systems programmer. His leadership, technical skills, and research acumen continue to drive Agrovision’s mission to empower farmers and promote sustainable, technology-driven agriculture across Uganda.
